State of the Art Treatments

Dr. Cappuccino is often part of promoting cutting edge technologies for the most current treatment of spine conditions. From time to time, insurance carriers may deem these to be investigational and either deny approval or payment for the procedures. Even with approval, occasionally insurers may deny payment after the surgery based on their published medical policies.  We are aware of insurance policies for these types of technologies and will advise you of your payment options in these cases. Approval does not guarantee payment  If there is a medical policy against the use of the proposed  technology, payment alternatives can be discussed. Alternatively a more conventional operation, approved by the insurance company can be done.
